It’s been on my mind for quite some time, my obsession about this camera never diminished & its price tag never deterred me either. I was keen on this purchase for I’ve now known the 5D Mark III by heart even though I hadn’t touched it.
When the opportunity arrived, I took my hard earned cash to the nearest retail store & bought it. The kit I went for included the camera body along with its kit lens (the 24-105L f4 IS USM lens).
Most bloggers on the net suggested to drop the kit & go for the body only, however I saw differently as this lens is very versatile, light, takes great photos & has some macro capabilities. Also, the fact it could be used as a wide-angle on a full frame body added much value.
This new setup was perfect for me; full frame sensor, smart & fast AF system, high resolution imaging, fast CPU processing & sleek looks.
Yes, this is one of those purchases that you never regret, well unless you lose your interest in photography! :)
